What's in a Name?
Fireflies have a natural ability to shine their inner light. We humans have an inner light, too. When we're healthy and living according to our highest purpose, that light shines brightly.
Yet, life brings us challenges. And fear – of change, failure, pain, and the unknown. This fear can discourage us from stepping out into new territory, into adventure and discovery. This fear can cause us to get “stuck”.
As children, however, we could often find a safe place to have adventures. A place where we used our imaginations to completely change who we were. Often, that safe place was under the protection of a great, big tree. Perhaps a Willow tree.
Firefly Willows is dedicated to that process of self-change – a safe and joyful place to learn to shine your inner light.
Wherever you are on your path of healing, transformation, and self-discovery, come take your next step with us.
Firefly Willows embraces a family focus, because we are one! We are:
John Carosella: John has spent the last seven years delving deep into the path of shamanism. After a successful 25 years in high tech, he has moved into a field more in resonance with his spiritual path. Energetic and passionate, John leads the team at Firefly Willows. John manages our workshop program, offers shamanic healing and counseling, creates new connections through his travels and research, and writes (several blogs and a book in progress), creating a diverse and stimulating experience for our community.
Gina Carosella: Gina has always had a fascination with the spiritual, learning and gathering from a mix of inspirations. She has explored a rich variety of holistic and spiritual tools, from plants and minerals to totems, and is an accomplished tarot reader. Gina guides our product selection and in-store experience, and delights in creating relationships with customers and clients, so go ahead and ask her for assistance as you "explore, experience, and energize".
Deb Carosella: Deb is a talented artist and administrator par excellence…an unusual combination. Her eye for design is not limited to any one medium, and she moves gracefully between creating beautiful, powerful jewelry and sculpting and painting ceramics. Her eye for space and color guides the aesthetic of Firefly Willows as a meeting place and healing center. After a long career as the Chief Operating Officer in a complex and lively home, Deb shares her organizational gifts with the team to support our smooth and efficient operation.
